Codingville Discover Canada: A Hands-On AI Journey (Gr. 4–8)
Embark on a cross-country AI adventure designed specifically for Grades 4–8 educators. In Codingville: Discover Canada, participants travel coast to coast through six interactive, map-based adventures—each rooted in a different region of Canada and focused on a key branch of artificial intelligence. As educators progress through the journey, they will experience how AI concepts can be taught in age-appropriate, engaging, and curriculum-connected ways using real-world Canadian contexts. Each adventure includes five scaffolded missions that encourage experimentation, problem-solving, and critical thinking, mirroring how students learn best in the classroom.
Cammie is a District Instructional Lead at Prairie Rose Public Schools in Alberta and teaches a course on education technology for pre-service teachers at her local college. She has an MEd in Educational Leadership from Gonzaga University and BA/BEd Degree from the University of Lethbridge. She is a Google Certified Innovator, Trainer & Coach, a Microsoft Master Trainer and a Logics Academy Facilitator.
