Amy Matta

Amy Matta, B.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering Technology), B.Ed. from Fairleigh Dickinson University, NJ. After raising a family for 16 years and participating in a variety of educational roles in the community (eg., director of summer camp), I bolstered my role as an educator by pursuing a Bachelor of Education in the Primary/Junior division. As an educator, I believe that each child should be given the opportunity to engage in STEM activities that encourage critical thinking and provide successful experiences. I continue to redevelop myself and my teaching style to provide students with relevant, co-curricular, inquiry based lessons. At LOGICS Academy, since 2016, I am consistantly learning and delivering coding and robotics lessons as a facilitator for Jk -gr 8 and educators.
