Educators are introduced to agents as a way to support consistent instructional planning, shared resources, and grade‑ or department‑level workflows, with discussion around how agents differ from Copilot Chat and how they can be responsibly shared within teams.

Participants learn how to adjust custom settings and build reusable prompts based on their coursework, program outcomes, and current priorities (e.g., weekly readings, lab reports, practicum tasks, major assignments, or exam preparation). Students explore time-saving workflows such as breaking down complex instructions, organizing notes, generating study supports, creating outlines and drafts, refining clarity and voice, and turning dense content into accessible summaries—so they can spend more time thinking deeply and less time stuck in the busywork. Participants also use Create to generate interactive content for learning and communication (e.g., visuals, infographics, presentations, video concepts, and other multimodal artifacts) and practice quality checks to ensure outputs are accurate, appropriate, and aligned to assignment criteria. For teacher candidates and education programs, we highlight how to use Teach to build lessons, learning tasks, and assessments that support all learners—supporting differentiation and universal design while saving time in planning and resource creation. The session also introduces agent creation, helping participants explore how agents can support recurring academic workflows (e.g., a study coach, research organizer, practicum planner, or lesson-design partner) and how to use these supports responsibly within institutional and course guidelines.
