Analyzing Poetry: A Dash of Haiku

In this lesson, students will work in groups to analyze the word choice, meaning, and tone of various haiku. Working together, they will write an original haiku and then emulate the simplicity of the haiku structure in a related line drawing and program. Students will program Dash to recite and perform the haiku in the Wonder app.
