    Description

    Faire un film exige beaucoup de planification, de travail et d'imagination. Dans cette leçon, les élèves écriront le scénario d'un court métrage mettant en vedette Dash et Dot, et programmeront Dash et Dot pour jouer dans ce film, puis ils présenteront leur film devant la classe.

    Objectifs

    • Écrire le scénario d'un court métrage mettant en vedette Dash et Dot.
    • Planifier le tournage du film dans le temps alloué.
    • Programmer Dash et Dot et les filmer en train de jouer le scénario.
    • Faire les modifications au scénario ou à la programmation afin que le film soit produit dans le temps alloué.

    Classe 1 - Développement du scénario (`~40-60 min)

    Développement du scénario

    Aborder avec les élèves le sujet de la production d'un film en leur montrant un épisode de la série vidéo Dash et Dot sur YouTube:https://youtu.be/zeE5bHBFYno

    Former des groupes de 2 à 4 élèves. Remettre à chaque groupe :

    • 1 ou 2 robots Dash
    • 1 robot Dot
    • 1 tablette compatible avec Blockly

    Demander aux élèves d'écrire le scénario d'un court métrage (5 minutes ou moins) mettant en vedette Dash et Dot. Tous les genres cinématographiques sont permis, y compris la vidéo musicale, mais les élèves doivent faire approuver leur idée de scénario par l'enseignant avant de le rédiger.

    Rappeler aux élèves ce que Dash et Dot peuvent faire et à quels événements ils sont capables de réagir.

    Dash peut :

    • Bouger, tourner et tournoyer
    • Regarder vers le haut, vers le bas, à droite, à gauche et se tourner vers le lieu d'où provient une voix
    • Changer la couleur des lumières frontale, latérale, arrière et des yeux
    • Produire des sons fournis par Blockly ou des sons personnalisés enregistrés
    • Réagir lorsqu'on appuie sur un bouton, percevoir et frapper un objet, réagir à une voix ou un claquement, être ramassé ou percevoir Dot

    Dot peut :

    • Changer la couleur des lumières latérale ou des yeux
    • Produire des sons fournis par Blockly ou des sons personnalisés enregistrés
    • Réagir lorsqu'on appuie sur un bouton, lorsqu'on le déplace, le secoue, le jette, l'incline ou réagir à un claquement.


    • Remettre aux élèves des feuilles de rédaction de scénario et de scénarimage pour qu'ils y consignent leurs idées, leur scénario, les esquisses, les actions et les dialogues des personnages.
    • Chaque robot peut accepter et jouer 5 fichiers sons qui comprendront les dialogues du court métrage.
    • Encourager les élèves à suivre le déroulement de leur histoire originale lorsqu'ils rédigent le scénario (p. ex. : le scénario doit comprendre l'exposition du sujet, le développement et la montée dramatique et la résolution).

    Les élèves passeront le reste de la leçon à écrire leur scénarimage et à planifier les diverses scènes.

    Classe 2 - Conception des costumes, accessoires et décors (~40-60 min)

    Conception des costumes, accessoires et décors

    Encourager les élèves à dessiner ou peindre les décors du film et à fabriquer les costumes pour Dash et Dot. Cela constituerait un excellent cours d'art pour les élèves.

    Classe 3 - Programmation et tournage (~60 min)

    Demander aux élèves comment ils vont tourner leur film. Celui-ci doit être tourné dans le temps alloué pour la leçon. Rappeler aux élèves de planifier leur budget en conséquence.

    Remettre aux élèves les robots et les tablettes pour qu'ils puissent tester leur projet de film.

    Dans chaque groupe, un élève agira comme opérateur de la caméra.

    Demander aux élèves de programmer les actions de Dash dans Blockly. S'il leur est impossible de programmer Dash pour qu'il fasse une action prévue dans le scénario, ils devront modifier le scénario en conséquence.

    Demander aux élèves de tourner leur court métrage. Encourager les élèves à modifier le scénario original s'ils rencontrent des problèmes en cours de production ou si le film est trop long.

    Classe 4 - Montage vidéo, puis place au Festival du film (~40-60 min)

    Si vous disposez d'un logiciel de montage vidéo, permettre aux étudiants de l'utiliser s'il y a lieu. De tels logiciels sont offerts gratuitement sur Apple Store et Play. Cela permettra aux élèves de tourner chaque scène séparément puis de les juxtaposer et d'y ajouter la musique pour créer un film musical.

    En conclusion de ce projet, il serait amusant de présenter un Festival du film. Demander aux élèves de téléviser leurs films sur un ordinateur connecté à un projecteur et diffuser tous les films en classe... Lumières, pop corn et... place à la magie du cinéma!

    S'il y a suffisamment de robots dans la classe, demander aux élèves d'utiliser un robot comme opérateur de caméra et un autre robot comme vedette principale du film avec Dot. Sinon, chaque groupe désignera un de ses membres comme opérateur de caméra.
